Resumo

A sustentabilidade agita a maioria dos setores da sociedade de hoje. Ela está em movimento nas salas de reuniões, repassa relatórios trimestrais e aparece nas páginas iniciais e nos fluxos de mídia social. É ministrada em salas de aula, apresentada em conferências, transmitida pela mídia e discutida nas mesas de jantar. Superou sua reputação mais antiga como uma questão importante e apostou em uma grande reivindicação no vasto território da cultura popular. Apesar de seu recurso de conversação e frequência cognitiva, a sustentabilidade como um conceito nem sempre se traduz em ações, comportamentos ou políticas sustentáveis. Na verdade, a trajetória atual da sociedade moderna gesticula em direção a um movimento na direção oposta. Globalmente, austeridade financeira é o nome do jogo, e qualquer crítica ao desenvolvimento de investimentos que sustente o status quo é deixada de lado como irresponsável. Enquanto isso, produtos de limpeza ecologicamente corretos, sacolas reutilizáveis ​​e fraldas recicladas garantem que estamos no caminho sustentável. Claramente, esses gestos simbólicos não serão suficientes. É nesse cenário que esse trabalho busca analisar a situação da eco alfabetização nos dias atuais.

Licenciado em Estudos Sociais (Faculdade de Formação de Professores de Penedo/Alagoas (FFPP), Pós-graduação em História Contemporânea (Faculdade de Filosofia e Letras de Maceió/Alagoas), Mestre em Ciências da Educação (Universidade Interamericana/ PY); atualmente doutorando em Ciências da Educação pela Universidad Tecnológica Intercontinental (UTIC) Assunção/PY.
