Mapas Conceituais em Cursos Superiores da Área da Saúde
Uma Ferramenta para Aprendizagem Significativa

Os mapas conceituais (MCs) são ferramentas gráficas que auxiliam na organização e representação do conhecimento, promovendo a aprendizagem significativa. Este estudo realizou uma revisão integrativa da literatura sobre a aplicação dos MCs no ensino superior da área da saúde. Foram selecionados artigos publicados entre 2017 e 2023 nas bases PubMed e SciELO, totalizando 12 estudos. Os resultados indicam que os MCs contribuem para a organização do conhecimento, aprimoramento da memorização, estímulo ao pensamento crítico e avaliação da aprendizagem. Além disso, facilitam a integração e compreensão de conceitos complexos, promovendo o desenvolvimento de habilidades cognitivas essenciais para os profissionais da saúde. Contudo, desafios como a resistência dos estudantes à metodologia e a necessidade de maior validação quantitativa ainda persistem. Conclui-se que os MCs representam uma abordagem eficaz para potencializar o aprendizado, devendo ser incorporados de forma estratégica nos currículos acadêmicos.
